I am in the process of dieting to limit potassium, so is BRITA® water suitable for me?

Filtration can cause a small increase in potassium levels. However, a liter of BRITA^®  filtered water contains less potassium than an apple, for example.  If you have kidney disease or are on a special diet, we recommend that you consult your doctor before using the BRITA^®  water filter.
