Are BRITA® products BPA-free?

All BRITA^® materials in contact with water do not contain polycarbonate and therefore do not release BPA. Additionally, materials used in BRITA^® appliances are certified food grade quality. This includes migration tests according to EC (European Commission) legislation. Accordingly, there is no migration of forbidden/dangerous substances above values set by EC.
